I wanted to work with a small family owned business. I would give a 5 star if not for the mishaps, it may not be a big deal to others but it did to me. First the salesman was the first to start the chain of events. Asked him to let me know when my check was received and he said, ok. Well I let enough time to pass to think it was delivered. Couldn’t get ahold of him, no return text, no return calls and then finally when I reach him he says he has nothing to do with when the check arrives. Well then why didn’t you say that when I asked you instead of ok? I was trying to get an install by a certain date and I felt his lack of effort didn’t help. Then 2nd which I can now understand, (it was frustrating waiting all day), the truck broke down before my install. No other way to get the shutters. Now the install is ready and the company didn’t do the right way for the main window. They made it without the bar in the middle for opening and closing. I asked the guy if he could just leave it and he said they will need it to correct it. Ok up and down with drapes on and off and on. Luckily we didn’t remove the hardware. Now another day wasted. Called the office for an update didn’t hear from the text sent that they would get back with a date of completion. I explained about the inconvenience of not having the shutters and the woman said he could of just left the shutters until the install. Ugh! So now I’m in a situation when they were going to install and my husband would be out of town. Again, the timing was bad. So I said to the woman that we’ve had enough mistakes can they move it up. In the meantime my husband had to reschedule his flight. They moved it by 2 days. I’m glad they did something. I can’t complain about the quality or any issues with installing. The workers were very accommodating and knew their job. But everything else, ugh!
